2025 - 2026 embroidery project.

In 2025 and 2026, a new project will be developed in collaboration with embroidery ateliers in India, based in Mumbai and Lucknow. The project explores intersections between textile traditions and contemporary painting, producing a body of work that combines hand embroidery with painted elements. Supported by the Asia New Zealand Foundation and Creative New Zealand, the work draws on the material histories of Indian craft while extending an ongoing interest in hybridity and cross-cultural collaboration.
